SHAHIN DAMOUI
Principal Attorney
As a native of Iran, Shahin has demonstrating an unrelenting passion for defending those most vulnerable. This passion afforded Shahin the opportunity to graduate from the University of California, Irvine, with a degree in Political Science and International Relations. Shahin then obtained his law degree from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.
While attending the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, Shahin gained invaluable experience and practice as a Rule 38-certified extern in the criminal division of the Office of the Attorney General. During his time at the Office of the Attorney General, Shahin gained important insight from a prosecutor’s perspective, which has ultimately afforded him a more comprehensive understanding and robust relationship with his clients as an attorney.
As an attorney, Shahin defended clients for two private firms. The first was a small firm that specialized in major felony and death penalty cases. Here, Shahin had the unique experience of working directly on criminal trials involving death penalty eligibility and first-degree murder. The second was a larger firm that afforded Shahin the ability to experience the drawbacks of high-volume law firms and inspired his desire to start his own practice and do things differently. As a former competitive boxer, Shahin nowadays brings the same fighter mentality and discipline from the ring to the courtroom.
